Erik K. Muller

Erik Muller died on March 9th at his family’s home in Rutherford NJ after a four-year battle with brain cancer. He was born on April 14,1970 to Gerhardt and Gisela Muller in Ridgewood, Queens, NY. After graduating from Garden City High School, Erik attended SUNY Maritime. After graduation, he sailed as a merchant marine officer with Military Sealift Command, then went on to attend the University of New Hampshire where he earned his Master’s Degree in Engineering and met his wife, Laura.

Erik and Laura moved to New Jersey and went on to have two children, April and Jonas. Everyone who knew Erik was touched by his kindness and humor. He loved the outdoors, photography and donated his time to Boy Scouts and his church. Erik worked has a project engineer at Langan Engineering, New York City for nearly twenty years.

He is survived by his wife Laura, their children April and Jonas, his parents, Gerhardt and Gisela Muller, brothers Glenn, Jens and Scott Muller and their families, with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Memorial visiting Friday, March 11th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ. The funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church, Clifton, on Saturday March 12th at 11 am. Please Meet at Church.
