Ernesto Boyer, 92, of Clifton, passed away June 27, 2021. Born in Samana, Dominican Republic, Mr. Boyer came to the United States in the late 1970’s and settled in Paterson before moving to Clifton in 1996. Before his retirement, he was employed with Thomas Electronics in Wayne, New Jersey. Previous employment was with Clarkwood Corp. of Totowa and Arrow Corp. of Saddle Brook.
Mr. Boyer enjoyed working with his hands and was known to be a talented woodworker.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Reyna (nee Taveras); eight children, Ana Boyer, Maria Boyer, Jacqueline Boyer, Raysa “Annie” Boyer and her husband, Edward Schuhlein, Ernesto N. Boyer and his wife, Marlene Guerra, Yokasta Boyer, Maribel Mejias and her husband, David and Olga Felix; and seven grandchildren, Ashley Montan, Eileen Montan, Justin Mejias, Alyssa Mejias, Gabriela Mejias, Camila Boyer and Brandon Boyer.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by entombment at Calvary Cemetery in Paterson.
