Esther (nee Saporito) Kenney, 91, of Clifton, passed away on September 7, 2022.

Born in Paterson, Mrs. Kenney moved to Clifton in 1962 where she has resided since. Before her retirement in 1991, she was employed with TRW Credit of Parsippany where she was employed for 22 years.

            Esther was a faithful parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton where she was a member of the Leisure Club, the Rosary Society and served as a Eucharistic Minister.

            She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul F. Kenney in 1993; her daughter, Jo-Ellen Illenye in 2021; her granddaughter, Lauren Kelley Illenye; one sister, Nancy Cuccio; and three brothers, Anthony, Carmine and Danny Saporito.

            Survivors include: her devoted son, Paul F. Kenney, Jr. and his wife, Judith, of Bridgewater; one sister, Mildred Anzalone, of Clifton; four grandchildren: Joseph Paul Illenye, Jr. and his wife, Murphy, Jaclyn Paige Warren and her husband, Devon, Eric Paul Kenney and his wife, Aleksandra, Erin Marie Beals and her husband, William; and three Great-grandchildren: Lucas Paul, Sebastian Paul and Ella Lucia

            Visitation will be held Friday from 5-9pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:15am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00am Mass at St. Paul RC Church, 124 Union Ave, Clifton.
