Eunice Josephine (Hamilton) Henry

Eunice Josephine (nee Hamilton) Henry, 94, of Clifton, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born and raised in St. Ann, Jamaica, Mrs. Henry came to the United States in the early 1980’s. She first settled in Queens, New York and has been a resident of New Jersey since 1984.  Before her retirement, Mrs. Henry was employed as an Operating Room Assistant at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Mrs. Henry was a faithful member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clifton. She enjoyed sewing and creating clothing.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lanasah Henry in 1998.

Survivors include: her three devoted children, Ann Marie Rust of Clifton, NJ, Carl Lodge of Fair Lawn, NJ and Leary Henry of Forest Hill, MD; six loving grandchildren, Christopher Rust, Noel Rust, Denzel Lodge, Felicia Lodge, Jamal Henry and Letisha Henry; one loving great-grandchild, Julia Lodge; and two dear sisters, Joyce King and Hyacinth Jones.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 9:30 am at Calvary Baptist Church, 462 Lexington Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07011. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather before the service from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the church. Interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Outwater Lane, Saddle Brook.
