Fanny (Luchese) Di Santo

Fanny (nee Luchese) Di Santo, 92, of Clifton passed away peacefully on November 4, 2021.

            Born and raised in Paterson, Mrs. Di Santo then lived in Elmwood Park followed by Clifton and then in Wayne for ten years before finally returning to Clifton where she has resided since. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a factory worker for numerous companies in the area. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Atlantic City and Las Vegas and loved to dance, her personal favorite being the “Jitterbug”.

            Mrs. Di Santo was predeceased by her loved husband of nearly fifty-eight years, Thomas A. Di Santo, who passed away July 10, 2018; by a dearly missed and always loved daughter, Tammy Di Santo, who passed in 1989 at the much too young at the age of twenty-three and to who Mrs. Di Santo dedicated her life to helping during her illness; by three dear siblings: Biaggio Luchese, Jack Luchese and Dorothy Savona; and a missed nephew, Charles Savona.

            She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Francine (nee Sabella) Anderson and her husband, John Anderson, Sr., of Clifton; a dear brother, Phil Luchese, of Toms River; her loved grandson, John Anderson, Jr.; and nine dear nieces and nephews: Rose Modaferri, Jack Luchese, Barbara Finamore, Joseph Luchese (her Godson), Rosemary Baker, Diane Luchese, Julie Greger, Jackie Fiske and Anthony Luchese and all of their spouses and children.

            Private funeral services were held under the direction of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
