Francis Arlene Kupetz-Trczinski, most fondly known to friends and family as “Arlene”, passed away peacefully on May 30th, 2026 at the age of 81. Born July 22nd, 1944 Arlene was a woman who loved animals, especially penguins, and contributed to many charities throughout her life and lived always thinking of everyone else first before herself.
Arlene was a lifelong resident of Clifton, NJ and after a lengthy career, retired from Passaic County Community College allowing her to spend time with her only son Corey and his wife Sandi, traveling to California and simply enjoying her life.
She spent much time feeding her neighbor’s dogs whom she loved dearly, also regularly feeding local birds and squirrels daily.
Arlene is survived by her son Corey Trzcinski and daughter-in-law Sandi of Lords Valley, PA; her brother James Kupetz and his wife Lynne, of Wayne; brother-in-law Robert Mc Glynn of Dingmans Ferry, PA; and her nieces Jennifer and Jessica. She was predeceased by her dear brother, Albert T. Kupetz, on December 11, 2025.
Arlene’s kindness and love could be felt by everyone who knew her…from family, friends and co-workers to people she saw daily around town who touched her life and likewise she also touched theirs. Once you met Arlene you could never forget her as she was one of a kind.
