Frederick C. Koval

Frederick C. Koval, 83, of Bloomfield, passed away Monday, February 24, 2025. He was born in Derby, Connecticut and resided there until moving to Bloomfield 56 years ago. He was a Sales Engineer for Burt Process Equipment, Springfield, NJ for many years before retiring. Frederick was a parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, Passaic and was a United States Air Force Veteran and enjoyed model aviation.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ferdinand and Esther (nee Karney) Koval.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maria (nee Sadiv) Koval; and one son, Frederick Koval.

Byzantine Liturgy Friday, February 28, 2025 11:00 am at St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 96 First Street, Passaic, New Jersey 07055. Please meet at the Cathedral. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack. Arrangements under the direction of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Please omit flowers.
