Fredric (Ric) Gombash

Fredric J. Gombash, Jr. 

4/18/1946 to 11/13/2024 

Fredric (Ric) Gombash passed away peacefully in Trenton, Florida on November 13, 2024. He was the loving father of the late Fred Gombash, loving Dad to son Frank Gombash, daughter Christina Koontz and her partner Kurt Jordan. He was a devoted Grandfather to Isabella Koontz. Former husband of Doreen (Timpanaro) Gombash. He is predeceased by his sister Laureena (Gombash) Fiduccia.

He is also survived by his brother Greg Gombash and his wife Laura. 

Born in Clifton, NJ, Ric played for the Mustangs of Clifton High School under Joe Grecco. He managed the Rowe-Manse Emporium store in Styretowne and graduated from FDU, Rutherford, NJ. 

Ric lived in Plantation and Gainesville, Florida for the last 44 years. He was employed by Monterrey Boat Company working with his best friend, Jeffrey Marshall. Ric loved gardening, cooking, fishing, and all of the University of Florida Gators athletic programs. 

He lived peacefully at the Tri-County Nursing Home in his final days. He will be remembered in a private graveside family service on Monday, January 13, 2025 at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi, NJ, joining his mother Margaret and father Fredric Gombash, Sr.
