Gary John Dukich

Gary John Dukich, 68, of Clifton, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020. Born in Elmwood Park, Gary resided in Clifton for 40 years. He retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail handler in Teterboro after 25 years of service.

            Gary earned a Masters Degree in Sociology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. As an active member of the St. Philip the Apostle Knights of Columbus, Gary was recently honored as Knight of the Year. Gary volunteered his time to many organizations including Clifton’s Avenue of Flags, the Clifton Animal Shelter, the Clifton Adult Opportunity Center and delivered food to the homebound.  

            Gary is survived by his wife, Michalina (nee Rusynko) Dukich and his sister, Ellen Cook. He was predeceased by his brother, David Dukich.
