Georgetta (nee DeMarco) Hardy, 86, of Woodland Park, passed away peacefully with her devoted family at her bedside on Thursday January 4, 2024.
Born in Glen Cove, Long Island, NY, Mrs. Hardy was raised in Locust Valley and had lived in Woodland Park for the past sixty years. Prior to retiring, she had been employed for many years as a Loan Officer with the former First Fidelity Bank, now Wells Fargo Bank, in Totowa. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Bonaventure RC Church in Paterson. She loved to cook and watch QVC and was known to be a caretaker for everyone.
Mrs. Hardy was predeceased by her deeply missed parents, Dominick and Amilia “Millie” (nee Toscano) DeMarco as well as by her dear brother Robert James DeMarco.
She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty-four years, Ralph Hardy and by her two loving and devoted children, Glenn Anthony Hardy and Corinne Hardy, all of Woodland Park.
Visiting will be Monday from 5-7pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 11:45am from the funeral home and 12:30pm at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
