Gerald (Jerry) T. Heenan, 69, of Hardyston, formerly of Oak Ridge, passed away on October 25, 2021.
Born in Trenton and raised in Kearny, Mr. Heenan had lived in Oak Ridge for thirty years before moving to Hardyston three years ago. He was employed as a Bacteriologist with Scimedx Corp. in Dover, was a parishioner of St. Jude RC Church in Hardyston, an avid fan of the New York Mets and a member of New Jersey Paranormal.
Mr. Heenan is survived by his beloved wife, Karen (nee Holm) Heenan, of Hardyston; two loved stepdaughters: Dawn Olson of Rockaway and Erin Marin and her husband, Robert, of Franklin; cherished grandson Alexander (Xander) Martin to whom Jerry was “Dziadzi” (his Polish Grandpa); his dear sister, Ellen Heenan, of Pennsylvania; his loved niece Ashlee Meyers and her son Joshua Meyers, both of Pennsylvania; and many dear cousins in Pennsylvania.
Visiting will be Friday October 29th from 11:30am-12:30pm with the funeral service to immediately follow at 12:30pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Interment to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Market Street Mission (www.marketstreet.org), 9 Market Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
