Gloria L. “Laurice” (nee Hayek) Sabeh, 94, of Clifton passed away peacefully on Thursday September 7th, 2023.
Born and raised in Paterson, Mrs. Sabeh moved to Clifton sixty-two years ago and has resided there since. She was a homemaker with a strong love of cooking, especially Arabic food. She was a faithful parishioner of Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church in Little Falls.
Mrs. Sabeh was predeceased by her loved husband, Albert P. Sabeh, who passed away on July 12, 2021; by her deeply missed son, Paul Albert Sabeh, on November 2, 2014; and by two dear siblings: George Hayek and Agnes Hayek.
She is survived by her three loving and devoted daughters: Joann Hynes and her husband, John, of Montville, Patricia D’Amico and her husband, Anthony, of Charlotte, NC and Michele Gallopo and her husband, Scott, also of Montville; her dear sister, Antoinette Tuozzolo, of Clifton; five cherished grandchildren: Jaime Palumbo and her husband, Brett, Scott Gallopo, Jr., Matthew Gallopo, Nicholas D’Amico and Andrew D’Amico; and by her two treasured great-grandchildren: Avery and Brady Palumbo.
Visitation will be Monday from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 9:15am from the funeral home and 10:00am at Sacred Heart Armenian Catholic Church, 155 Long Hill Road, Little Falls. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be preferred and appreciated.
