Helen P. "Marge" (Curran) Monaghan

Helen P. “Marge” (nee Curran) Monaghan, 94, of Hackettstown, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born in Kelly Station, Pennsylvania and resided in Clifton for over fifty-five years before moving to Hackettstown in 2013.

She was predeceased by her husband, John J. Monaghan; her parents, Douglas and Mary (nee Sihlanick) Curran; one daughter, Doreen Monaghan; one son, Timothy Monaghan; three grandchildren, Jennifer Monaghan, Suzanne McCain and Alex Blanar; one brother, Douglas Curran; two sisters, Elsie Verrastro and Eileen Chirogeanis; and her son-in-law, Vincent Walters.

She is survived by her children, Kevin Monaghan and his wife, Susan, Brian Monaghan, Deborah Walters and Theresa Blanar; three grandchildren, Jenna Brewi (Jason), Alexa Berkins (Scott) and Matthew Walters (Brittany); three great-grandchildren, Quinn Brewi, Eva Berkins and Max Berkins; and a close family friend Maria Kanaropoulos.
