Ida Marotta

Ida (nee Lattanzio) Marotta, 94, of Clifton, passed away October 15, 2021. Born and raised in Paterson, Mrs. Marotta  was a resident of Clifton for over 70 years. Before her retirement, Mrs. Marotta was employed with General Felt Industries (GFI) of Saddle Brook for many years.

            Mrs. Marotta was a faithful parishioner of St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton where she was a member of the Rosary Society and the Leisure Club.

            She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert Marotta in 2007; her son, Michael Marotta in 2019; and her brother, Domenick Lattanzio in 2001.

            Survivors include: her devoted daughter, Kathleen Colli and her husband, Louis of Clifton; her brother, Albert Lattanzio of New Hampshire; two grandson, Louis Colli, Jr. and his wife, Jessica and Thomas Colli and his wife Jessica; and five great-grandchildren, Alex, Andy, Sophia, Jackson and Brianna.

            Visiting will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 10:00 am at St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Avenue, Clifton. Please meet at church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to a charity of your choice.
