Jacquelyn T. (Francis) Neering

Jacquelyn “Jacke” Neering (née Francis), 74, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on August 19, 2025, after a courageous four-month fight with glioblastoma. She was born on August 21, 1950, in Newark, NJ, to the late Ramon W. Francis and Ann E. Francis. Jacke was raised in Lyndhurst, NJ, before making Clifton her home, where she spent the majority of her life surrounded by family and friends.

Jacke will be remembered for her infectious laugh, kind heart, and resilient spirit. She faced life with strength and grace, and her warmth touched everyone who knew her. Jacke’s beloved cats, Shelby and Aston, brought her great comfort and companionship. She enjoyed gardening and watching birds, but above all was happiest being a mom. 

She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Kevin and Lindsey; her husband, Leonard; her sister, Renee; and many dear friends who will forever hold her memory close. She was also predeceased by Steven A. Cook.

Jacke will be deeply missed, and her memory will shine brightly in the lives of all who loved her.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday August 23rd from 2-4pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Glioblastoma Research Organization (www.gbmresearch.org), 2045 Biscayne Boulevard #189, Miami, FL 33137.
