James Paul Archer, Jr.

James Paul Archer, Jr., 61, of Clifton, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident of Clifton.

            Mr. Archer had been employed as a driver with MetLife Insurance of Morristown.  For the last few years, he has been the primary caretaker for his mother.

For many years, he sang and played the guitar in the folk group at St. Paul R.C. Church in Clifton where he also worked with the Youth Ministry Group.

Mr. Archer was predeceased by his father, James Paul Archer, Sr.; one brother, Joseph Archer; and one brother-in-law, James Wright.

Survivors include: his beloved mother, Joyce (nee Stefanacci) Archer; his siblings, William Archer and his wife, Johanna, Elizabeth Wright, and Kathleen Prinz and her husband Mark; and four nephews, Thomas Archer, Jimmy Wright, and Christopher and Derek Prinz.

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday 11:00 am at St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Ave., Clifton. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
