Obituary
James Francis McLellan, 70, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023. Born in Paterson, Jim was raised in Clifton where he resided for most of his life. He has lived in Ocean County for the last ten years. Before his retirement, he was employed as a Route Delivery Salesman with Coca Cola Co. in New York City. While growing up in Clifton, Jim excelled in sports. He was a big basketball and baseball fan and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees.
Jim was predeceased by his beloved parents, William and Margaret (nee Heinl) McLellan; and his brother, William Robert McLellan.
Survivors include: two sisters, Cathleen Brogan and her husband, Hon. Thomas F. Brogan, Sr. and Nan Patricia Reil; nieces and nephews, Sean McLellan (Meghan), Thomas F. Brogan, Jr., Kelley Brogan, Jaimie Brogan Lavender (Nicholas), Stephen Reil, Jr., Nicole Weniger (Michael), William Alexander McLellan (Kimberly) and Delaney McLellan; and six grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at St. Paul R.C. Church, 124 Union Avenue, Clifton. Please meet at church. Burial to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton. Visit www.bizubquinlan.com to leave condolences to the family on the Tribute Wall section of the obituary.
