James J. O'Neill

James J. O’Neill, 76, of Clifton, passed away at home on Thursday, April 7, 2022. He was born and raised in Paterson residing there most of his life before moving to Clifton. James was a fireman with the Paterson Fire Department retiring with the rank of Captain. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, camping, gambling and loved his cat.

He is predeceased by his parents, William and Regina (nee Cusack) O’Neill; two brothers, William O’Neill and Robert O’Neill; and one sister, Regina Bernroth.

He is survived by his spouse, Janice (nee Lombardi) Strub; children, Jessica Guercioni, Jennifer O’Neill, Danielle Makara, Richard Strub and Kristen Lombardi; grandchildren, Madison, Dylan, Grace, Joseph and Alexandra; one brother, Jerry O’Neill; and one sister, Judy Hausworth.

Memorial visiting Thursday, April 14 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ.
