Janet Gloria (Centinaro) Perry

Janet Gloria (nee Centinaro) Perry, 79, of Rockaway, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Born in Passaic, Janet was raised in Clifton where she resided for most of her life. She has lived in the Fox Hills Adult Active Community in Rockaway for the last 15 years.  She has recently been employed with CDS at Costco in Wharton. Janet had a talent for creating ceramics and even had her own studio in Clifton at one time. She was also known to be an amazing cook and baker and would enjoy making treats for her family and friends.

Survivors include: her beloved husband, James Perry; her son, Frank R. Placa, Jr. and his wife, Maria Velasco of Oradell; her daughter, Traci L. Pettis and her husband, Eric of Fort Myers, FL; her loving grandchildren, Amanda Placa, Gianna Placa, Lucca Placa-Velasco, Domenica Placa-Velasco, Brendan Pettis, Alexa Pettis and Jack Pettis; three stepsons, Glenn, Scott and Jim Perry; and ten step-grandchildren.

Janet was predeceased by her brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 20, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton followed by a 5:00 pm funeral service.
