Jeanette M. De Fillipps passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2026. She was born and raised in New Jersey and lived a life marked by devotion to her family, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know her.
Jeanette earned a bachelor’s degree from Jersey City State Teachers College. She enjoyed teaching K-8 for several years. She was a huge New York Yankees fan and an avid tennis player. She loved attending Yankee games and the US Open with her family. She enjoyed Looney Tunes cartoons, designer fashion, collecting Giraffe memorabilia, and there was no bigger Beatles fan!
Jeanette is survived by her beloved husband, John, and her daughters, Jana and Janelle. She was the cherished daughter of the late Louis and Annette. She was predeceased by one brother and is survived by one sister and two brothers, along with their families. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Though her passing leaves a profound emptiness, her memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends for years to come.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius R. C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ.
