Jesus Pita Obituary

Jesus Pita, 69, of Clifton passed away on March 14, 2021 following a brief illness.

            Born in Tulcingo Del Valle, Puebla, Mexico, Mr. Pita came to the United States in the 1970’s, settling in the Bronx, NY. He then lived in Passaic for a period of time before finally moving to Clifton in 2001. He was the proud owner of two restaurants, Las Maravillas De Tulcingo, located in Passaic and Englewood. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Passaic.

            Mr. Pita was predeceased by a sister, Emma Pita.

            He is survived by his beloved and caring wife, Lucina (nee Mendez) Pita; three devoted and loved children: Jenny Pita and her husband, Jhovanni Ore, Jesus Pita, Jr. and his wife, Wendy Mendoza, and Daisy Pita and fiancée Jose Bermejo; five dear siblings: Francisco Pita, Abilio Pita, Manuel Pita, Raymundo Pita and Teodora Pita, all of Mexico; and five cherished grandchildren: Marcus Rueda, Jesus Pita III, Jacob Ore, Layla Pita and Camila Bermejo.

            Visiting will be Tuesday March 23rd from 5:00-9:00 pm. Interment will be at Panteón Municipal, Tulcingo Del Valle, Puebla, Mexico. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (https://fundraising.stjude.org/site/TR/GiftFunds/GiftFunds?px=6958784&pg=personal&fr_id=39300), 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

 

Jesus Pita, de 69 años, de Clifton falleció el 14 de Marzo de 2021 luego de una breve enfermedad.

Nacido en Tulcingo Del Valle, Puebla, México, el Sr. Pita llegó a los Estados Unidos en la década de 1970 y se estableció en el Bronx, Nueva York. Luego vivió en Passaic por un período de tiempo antes de finalmente mudarse a Clifton en 2001. Era el orgulloso propietario de dos restaurantes, Las Maravillas De Tulcingo, ubicados en Passaic y Englewood. Fue feligrés de la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Fátima RC en Passaic.

El Sr. Pita fallecio despues que una hermana, Emma Pita.

Le sobreviven su amada y cariñosa esposa, Lucina (de soltera Méndez) Pita; tres hijos devotos y amados: Jenny Pita y su esposo, Jhovanni Ore, Jesus Pita, Jr. y su esposa, Wendy Mendoza, y Daisy Pita y su prometido José Bermejo; cinco queridos hermanos: Francisco Pita, Abilio Pita, Manuel Pita, Raymundo Pita y Teodora Pita, todos de México; y cinco queridos nietos: Marcus Rueda, Jesus Pita III, Jacob Ore, Layla Pita y Camila Bermejo.

La visita será el martes 23 de marzo de 5: 00-9: 00 pm. El sepelio será en Panteón Municipal, Tulcingo Del Valle, Puebla, México.
