JoEllen Kenney Illenye

JoEllen Kenney Illenye, 63, of Seaside Heights, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2021.

Born in Paterson, NJ, JoEllen was raised in Clifton, resided in Lincoln Park for twenty-five years, and later retired to her shore home in Seaside Heights. JoEllen devoted her life to raising her children, alongside working in Human Resources.  She was an avid shopper, loved everything about the shore, and had a great love for her family and friends; especially being a Mema to her grandson, Lucas and future granddaughter.

She is survived by her son Joseph Illenye and his girlfriend, Murphy; by her daughter Jaclyn Warren and her husband, Devon, and her grandson, Lucas; by her spouse Joseph Illenye, Sr.; by her mother Esther (nee Saporito) Kenney; by her brother Paul Kenney, Jr. and his wife, Judith; and her niece, Erin and nephew, Eric.

She is predeceased by her daughter Lauren Illenye and her father Paul Kenney, Sr.

Visiting hours Saturday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm from Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ 07013. There will be a Prayer Service within the Visiting hours. Private Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
