John A. Acksen

John Anthony Acksen, 75, of Clifton, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025.  Born and raised in New Bedford, Massachusetts, John attended high school in Maine and college at the University of Massachusetts.  He has resided in Clifton for the last six years.  Before retirement, John was employed as a construction project manager.

John enjoyed sailing and waterskiing.  He even taught waterskiing in his younger years.  John was an avid motorcyclist and even enjoyed parachuting.

He is survived by his three children, Matthew Acksen (Tricia), Adam Acksen (Heather George) and Amber Harmon (Terry); his former wife and friend, Ellen Warren; his granddaughter, Ashley Acksen; his sister, Barbara Acksen; and many cousins.
