John P. Cunningham

John P. Cunningham, 68, of Clifton, passed away on December 4, 2024. Born in Passaic, John was raised in Paterson but resided most of his adult life in Clifton.  He had been employed as a supervisor with Advanced Restoration, LLC of Bayville before retirement. John also had been the owner of Cunningham Motorsports located on Main Avenue in Clifton specializing in NASCAR collectibles. He was a former parishioner of St. Michael the Archangel Cathedral in Passaic.

John was predeceased by his parents, John E. and Evelyn (nee Zeleznik) Cunningham; his brother, Michael Cunningham; and his brother-in-law, Raymond Dhont.

Survivors include: his beloved wife, Ondina Cunningham; two sisters, Kathleen Dhont and Isabel Bona (Nuccio); his nephew, Raymond Dhont (Mary Ann); two nieces, Maddalena Speer (Russel) and Jennifer Chandler (Jeff); and five great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabriella Chandler, Raymond Dhont, Russel Speer, Giulianna Chandler and Elena Speer

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Ave, Clifton.  The funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm.  Cremation will be private.
