John Emmett Reynolds, Jr., 67. Beloved son of the late Edna and the late John, brother to Patrick and Regina, and loving uncle and godfather to Dylan, John died at the age of 67 on March 23, 2021.
A graduate of Lincoln Technical Institute, John was ASE certified at the highest level. An accomplished Master Di-Tech (Diagnostic Specialists), he was the go-to-guy at the shop. His expertise ranged from Toyota MR2 NASCAR crew chief to co-owner of a private auto repair shop to 20 plus years of service as a Master Auto Mechanic for Lexus, a division of Toyota Corporation in New Jersey.
John will be remembered as a dedicated and generous family man and friend, who loved the Jersey Shore. An avid NASCAR racing fan, his passion was his vintage Harley Davison motorcycle and diagnosing the “impossible-to-fix” car. He was an amateur wine maker and valued his time with friends over a good bottle of wine.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped John fight his long struggle with complications from COVID this winter. We wish to give a special thanks to the excellent nursing staff and respiratory department at Ocean Medical Center, Brick, N.J. A Celebration of Life event will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, take a long walk along the ocean’s shoreline in John’s memory.
