Jong Young Park

Jong Young Park, 88, of Clifton, NJ, passed away on December 9, 2024 from complications following pneumonia.

Jong Young was born on October 20, 1936 in Taechon, South Korea. In 1953, Jong Young met Yeong Suk. They went on to have three children, Aesuk Baer, Insuk Strack, and Yeon Soo Lee.

Jong loved spending her time cooking, gardening, knitting, and enjoying Korean TV shows. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and had a warm and generous nature. She always enjoyed life and was well-loved by all who knew her, especially her friends at Happy Home Adult Day Care Center in Paterson, NJ. She will be remembered and missed forever.

Jong was predeceased by her husband Young Suk Lee and her sisters. She is survived by her children Aesuk, Insuk, and Yeon Soo, their respective spouses Terry Baer, Timothy Strack, and Hey Nam Lee, her grandchildren, Andrew Strack, Rita Strack, Joseph Lee, Linda Knepp, and Lisa Baer-Tsarfati, and her great-grandchildren Jason Polen Jr., Jai Evans, Luckas James Silver, Quentin Young, and Maisie Young. 

She will be having a private memorial service with family and close friends.
