Joseph Jupin, 94, of Clifton, passed away February 10, 2025. Born and raised in Passaic, Joseph has resided in Clifton for over 63 years. Prior to retiring 33 years ago, he was employed as a general foreman with GEC Marconi Electronic Systems Corporation, formerly known as Plessy Co. and Kearfott Co. in Totowa. Joseph was a proud veteran of the United States Navy having served honorably during the Korean Conflict. He was a parishioner of Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral in Passaic.
Joseph was a big fan of the New York Giants and shopping at Little Falls ShopRite. His favorite hobby was gardening. Joseph was known for growing tomatoes. He will always be remembered for his warm smile and kindness to all who knew him. Joseph’s life was one well-lived, filled with joy, service, and love. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives he touched.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Corrine (nee Dorsey); two brothers, Michael Jupin and George Jupin; and one sister, Mary Cardy; and his parents George and Mary (Halecz) Jupin of Passaic.
Survivors include: two devoted daughters, Elizabeth Lion and her husband, Walter of Boonton Twp. and Jacqueline Bourgin and her husband, Emmanuel of Villennes-Sur-Seine, France; and five grandchildren, Alexandra, Amanda, Luc, Gregory and Ian.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 from 10:30 to 11:30 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will be held at 11:30 am at the funeral home followed by the interment at Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
