Joseph S. McKay, 29, of Philadelphia, passed away April 19, 2021. Born in Wayne, Joseph was raised in Clifton where he graduated from Clifton High School in 2010. More recently he has been residing in Philadelphia, PA. Joseph was employed as a supervisor with Recovery Centers of America in King of Prussia, PA. He enjoyed music, playing his guitar and loved spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Eva McKay and his maternal grandfather, Stephen Besofsky.
Survivors include: his devoted parents, Kevin and Lynne (nee Besofsky) McKay of Clifton; his two loving sisters, Lauren McKay and Melissa McKay; his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Besofsky; his aunts, Maureen McKay, Colleen McKay-Wharton and her husband, Ashley, and Stefanie Kelly and her husband, Chris; his uncle, Randy Besofsky and his wife, Laurie; and cousins, Ryan Kelly, Jack Kelly, Kayleigh Wharton and Erin Grasso.
Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. The funeral service will be Monday 10:30 am at the funeral home followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa. Facemasks must be worn.
