Joseph Andrew Musciotto

Joseph Andrew Musciotto, 81, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Joe was raised in Passaic where he lived for most of his life.  He has been a resident of Florida for the last 20 years. Before his retirement, Joe was employed with the Clifton Board of Education as a Math teacher at Clifton High School. He served as the golf coach at Clifton High School and Nutley High School. Joe was listed in Who’s Who in America twice as one of the best Math teachers in America.

Joe was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Passaic. He was a former member of the New Jersey Education Association. Joe’s love of golf brought him to memberships at Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield where he won the Silver Putter Championship three times and North Palm Beach Country Club where he shot a hole-in-one in 2013.

Joe was predeceased by his parents, James L. Musciotto (1993) and Geraldine (nee Soltis) Musciotto (1991) and his brother, James Paul Musciotto (1990).

He is survived by his devoted sister, Anne J. Musciotto, extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 9:15 from the funeral home and a 10:00 am Mass at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, cor. Oak St. and Myrtle Ave. in Passaic. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
