Joseph John Payne, 67, of Clifton, passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. Born and raised in Paterson, Mr. Payne resided in Clifton since 1997. He was employed as a maintenance manager at Four Seasons Great Notch in Woodland Park.
Mr. Payne was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. He was a member of the National Street Rod Association and enjoyed going to car shows with his 1931 Dodge Sedan. He also enjoyed a good beer and the New York Giants. A trusted handyman for family and friends, he was always reliable in getting things fixed. Mr. Payne was also an animal lover as he has two dogs and two cats.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Marlane (nee Saltalamachia); his son, Jeffrey Joseph Payne; his siblings, Marilyn DiZenzo and her husband Alfred, Kathy Melendez, Eugene Peterson and his wife, Kathy and Kevin Payne.
Visiting will be held Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday 11:30 am at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Please meet at church.
