Joyce Marie Gamba

Joyce Marie Gamba, 69, formerly of Clifton and Toms River, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 24, 2024.

            Born in Passaic, Joyce was raised in Clifton, graduated from Clifton High School, and lived there for most of her life before moving with her parents to Toms River where she then resided for twenty-two years. Joyce had been employed as a Mortgage Closer with Midlantic Bank (now PNC Bank) in Woodland Park for many years. Growing up, she was a faithful parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Passaic where she was also a member of the church choir. She was a big fan of the “silver screen”, enjoyed many cruises with friends but her greatest love was baking and putting together baskets of her homemade cookies for her friends and family.

            Joyce was predeceased by her loved and missed parents, John Edward and Anna (nee Polizzi) Gamba.

            She is survived by her devoted brother John Gamba and his wife, Susan, of Clifton; her loving niece and nephew Jaclyn and Tyler Gamba; and by her two dear aunts Rosalie and Grace Polizzi.

            Visitation will be on Sunday from 1:00-4:30pm with a funeral service to follow at 4:30pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Private cremation to follow.
