Joyce A. (Meskill) Hilla

Joyce A. (nee Meskill) Hilla, 89, of Woodland Park, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025. Born in Passaic, Joyce was raised in Clifton and moved to Woodland Park in 1963 where she has resided since. Before her retirement, Joyce was employed as a receptionist at The Canterbury at Cedar Grove.  As a devout Catholic, Joyce was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. She enjoyed maintaining her home where she baked, read, took care of her dogs and her house plants.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert A. Hilla in 2000 and her daughter, Debra Ann Drury in 2009.

Survivors include: her daughter, Karen Jean Hilla and one grandchild, Kristina Hilla.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton followed by an 11:30 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton.  Entombment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
