Julio Stroligo, 92, of Clifton passed away peacefully in the care of his family on Saturday July 29th, 2023.
Born and raised in Istria, Croatia, Mr. Stroligo came to the United States in1964, settling initially in Brooklyn before moving to Clifton in 1970 where he resided since. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Machinist with Commerce Clearing House in Clark for many years. He was a brilliant machinist who loved tinkering and truly possessed a special skill and mindset for anything mechanical.
Mr. Stroligo was predeceased by his loved and deeply missed wife, Frances (nee Scullion) Stroligo, who passed away on June 13, 2000 as well as by four dear brothers and two loved sisters.
He is survived by his two loving and devoted children: Richard Stroligo and his wife, Betsy, of Cherry Hill and Susan Stroligo of Clifton; and by two dear sisters, Rachele Radovich and Romilda Stroligo, both of Queens, NY.
Visiting will be Tuesday August 1st from 4-8pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Wednesday 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
