Karen E. (Obssuth) Mandell

Karen E. (nee Obssuth) Mandell, 65, of Fair Lawn, formerly of Hawthorne passed away, Friday, July 5, 2024. She was born in Passaic, NJ resided in Garfield and Hawthorne for many years before moving to Fair Lawn. Karen was a Social Worker in her own private practice for many years before becoming disabled. She loved cats.   

She was predeceased by her husband, Ira Mandell (1997); and her parents, Raymond E. (5/29/2021) and Mary (4/20/2021) (nee Bondaruk) Obssuth.

Karen is survived by her brother, Raymond K. Obssuth and his wife, Donna; two nephews, Justin Obssuth and his wife, Taryn and Brian Obssuth and his wife, Sonia; one niece, Heather Obssuth and her partner, Richard Serpineto; and three great-nieces, Isabella, Eliza and Sylvie; and her BFF, Linda Rick.

Visiting hours Wednesday 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey. Funeral service 6:15 pm at the Funeral Home. Private cremation to follow.
