Kenneth DeFilippo, 81, of Clifton passed away peacefully on Saturday July 13, 2024.
Born and raised in Newark, along with his family Ken moved to Bloomfield when he was in high school and had resided in Clifton for the past forty years. Prior to retiring, he had been employed as a Construction Project Manager with Lee Tai Enterprises in New York City. Along with his wife he loved to travel. He spent many happy summers on the Jersey shore and Rehoboth Beach, DE. Mr. DeFilippo was predeceased by his loved and missed parents, Nicholas and Mary (nee Aromando) DeFilippo as well as by his dear brother, Richard DeFilippo.
He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-six years, Angela (nee Monti) DeFilippo, of Clifton; his two devoted sons: Marc DeFilippo and his wife, Anna, also of Clifton and Matthew DeFilippo and his longtime partner, Alison Varney, of Burien, WA; his dear sister, Carol DeFilippo, of Rochester, NY; and by his two adored grandchildren: Simon and Sadie DeFilippo. Ken is also survived by his cherished dog, Stella, who was his constant companion and unwavering friend.
