Ladislas F. “Laddie” Feher, 89, of Little Falls, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023. Born in Paterson, Laddie was raised in Passaic where he was a proud “Second Warder” and a 1952 graduate of Passaic High School. He has resided in Little Falls since 1969. Laddie was a 1956 graduate of Rutgers University and then earned his Juris Doctorate degree as a 1959 graduate of Rutgers Law School. As a distinguished Rutgers Alumnus, he was inducted into the Loyal Sons of Rutgers.
Laddie served his country, as a Captain, in the United States Air Force. Before his retirement, Laddie maintained a law practice in Clifton for many years, and previously practiced in Passaic, along side his father-in-law, attorney George Tulenko. He was also a member of the Passaic County Bar Association.
Laddie was an avid tennis player, a member of the Nutley Tennis Club for over 65 years, and served as the former President of the club. He was inducted into the Passaic High School Athletic Hall of Fame for tennis. He instilled his love of the game in his children and grandchildren. He was also nationally ranked with all three of his children in both Father-Son and Father-Daughter Doubles.
He was predeceased by his parents, Frank (Duke) Feher and Rose Feher Reading and his sister, Jody Winarick.
Laddie leaves behind his beloved wife of 61 years, Dorothy (Tulenko) Feher; three children, David and his wife, Kristine, Robert and his wife, Jill, and Lauren and her partner, Heather; and four grandchildren, Samantha, Riley, Garrett, and Mason. He is also survived by his niece and nephews, and lifelong friend Sam Gilbert.
As per Laddie’s wishes, there will be a private service for the family.
Cremation was private under the direction of Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
