Lawrence P. Motyl

Lawrence P. Motyl, 76, of Totowa, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2021.

Lawrence was born in Passaic, was raised in Clifton and resided in Totowa over fifty-years. He was employed as a teamster truck driver for many years and then as a bus driver at Bergen County Special Services for many years before retiring. Mr. Motyl was a faithful member of Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cathedral, Passaic, NJ. Lawrence was a proud United States Army Veteran.

          He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann (nee Gambal) Motyl (2014); by his parents, Thaddeus Motyl, Sr. and Genevieve (nee Calvert) Motyl; and three brothers, Ted, Robert and Christopher Motyl.

          He is survived by his two children, Lauren Dargis and her husband, Michael and Timothy P. Motyl and his wife, Rachel; two granddaughters, Abigail Paige and Samantha Rose; two sisters, Lois Uhleman and Tammy Gebbia; three brothers, Richard and Joseph Motyl and John Ace; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:30 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Ss. Peter & Paul R.O. Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
