Lena Krygsman passed peacefully on March 11, 2026. She was a homemaker born in the town of Den Bommel, the Netherlands and, with her husband, emigrated to the United States in 1954. She grew up during World War II during the occupation of the Netherlands with her home occupied by the German SS until the war’s end. She survived the great Netherlands flood of 1953 and emigrated to the U.S .thereafter to start a family and live the American Dream.
She is survived by various nieces and nephews in the Netherlands and her immediate family here in the United States; Adrian with his wife Jackie, Herbert with his wife Nidia and Roland with his wife Liliana. She has multiple grandchildren, Wesley and Julie Krygsman, Frankie Krygsman, Lauralee and Jon Mickulik, Kourtney and Derek Teixiera and Tara and Aaron John Krygsman. She is also survived by her great grandchildren: Holden, Desmond, Cole, Wynston, Selma, Angelo, Brielle, Desiree, Alizayah, Gleidy, Chase, Jaelynne, Jerimiah, Noah, Carter and Mason; and her great, great grandson Jonah.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2026 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton, NJ. Funeral service 9:00 am Saturday at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
