Leonard J. Jopling, 72, of Toms River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 29th, 2024.
Born in Avoca, PA, Lenny was raised in South Paterson and lived there and in Clifton for most of his life. For the last year, he had been living in Toms River. Prior to retirement, he had been employed as a laborer with Menella's Poultry in Paterson.
Lenny was predeceased by his loved and missed parents, Charles and Dawn (nee Endres) Jopling as well as by a dear sister, Penny Trzesniowski.
He is survived by his two loved sons, Leonard Jopling, Jr. of Wayne and Dwayne Jopling and his wife, Rachael, of North Carolina; six dear siblings: Dorothy Hyman of Paterson, Roland Jopling and his wife, Lorraine, of Monroe Twp., NJ, Sandra Pescatore and her husband, Tony, of Toms River, Pamela Lynn and her husband, Gary, of North Carolina, Norman Jopling and his wife, Mary, of Pennsylvania and April Grinkin-DeLorenzo of Toms River. Lenny is also survived by his many loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2-6pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Monday 11:30am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
