Leonard P. Macaluso, 83, of Clifton passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday July 4, 2021.
Born and raised in New York, NY, Mr. Macaluso moved with his family to New Jersey in 1950, settling in Clifton where he then lived for most of his life. He was initially employed as a New Jersey Motor Vehicle Officer and then went on to a long career as a self-employed roofing consultant. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the Clifton Art Society and the Passaic County Artists Society. He loved being there for his family and friends and enjoyed time spent with them.
Mr. Macaluso was predeceased by his dearly missed parents, Anthony and Margaret (nee Santangelo) Macaluso.
He is survived by his loved son, Keith A. Macaluso, of Elizabeth; his two devoted sisters: Linda Insinga and her husband, Thomas, of Woodland Park and Patricia Macaluso, also of Clifton; three dear nieces: Karen, Kristine and Jenifer; and three cherished great-nephews: Nicholas, Thomas and Matthew.
Visiting will be Thursday July 8th from 4:00-8:00pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton with a funeral service to be held during the visitation at 6:30pm and United States Marine Corps. Military Honors service at 7:45pm to conclude the visitation. Private cremation to follow.
