Linda M. (nee Wilkie) Hall, of Hightstown, New Jersey, passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 68, with her family by her side.
Born on July 30, 1957, in Paterson, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William G. and Marie (nee Lavorgna) Wilkie. Linda grew up in Clifton, New Jersey, where she began building the foundation of the strong, loving, and courageous woman she would become. She later earned her Associate’s Degree and carried that same determination into every part of her life.
In 1989, Linda married Kenneth H. Hall, and together they shared many years of love and devotion. Their life together took them from Belleville, New Jersey, to Wallington, New Jersey, and then to Clark, New Jersey, before they eventually settled in Hightstown, New Jersey. Through every chapter, Linda remained a steady and caring presence, devoted to her husband, her daughter, and the family she cherished deeply.
Linda worked in the medical field for many years before retiring. She took pride in her work and was known for her compassion, reliability, and quiet strength. Her life was marked by perseverance, and she faced great challenges with remarkable grace. Linda battled cancer for many years, beginning in 1993, and throughout that long and difficult journey, she remained a very strong person. Her courage inspired all who knew her, and her strength was a defining part of her character.
She was a loving mother to her daughter, Caitlin Hall, and a beloved sister to Patricia A. Nagy and her husband, Bill. She was also a treasured aunt and godmother to Matthew Nagy and his wife, Kim, and a loving aunt to Brian Nagy. She was especially fond of her grand-niece, Ella Nagy, Matthew and Kim’s daughter. She held a warm affection for the family on her husband’s side.
She loved all animals and had a special tenderness for every creature. She also enjoyed ceramics, which reflected her patience, creativity, and appreciation for beauty. Linda also had three cats. She was always home keeping them company while the rest of the house went to work during the day (Mishka, Ryder and Pebbles).
Most of all, she cherished time with her family, and those moments remained among her greatest joys. Linda will be remembered for her loving heart, her kind nature, and her courageous spirit.
