Louise (Grubiak) Stolarz

Louise Stolarz, 91, of Clifton, formerly of Passaic, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

Born in Passaic, Louise married and lived in Clifton for the past 58 years.  Her life was dedicated to her husband and family as a homemaker.

Louise especially enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren, along with many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, reading, and gardening, which she eagerly shared with them.  Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Church and a member of the Valley Seniors of Clifton.

Louise is predeceased by her parents Michael & Kristina Grubiak and siblings Anna Vladyka, Frances Krompascik, Michael Grubiak, and Theodore Grubiak, and also a surviving sister Mary Schroeder.

Louise is survived by her devoted husband, Alexander, having celebrated 73 years of marriage, and four loving children:  Linda Derendal and her husband, Zbigniew, of Denville; Debra DeLuca and her husband, Donald, of Clifton; Janice Berman and her husband, Marc, of Clifton; and Anthony Stolarz and his wife, Patricia, of Clifton; her cherished grandchildren:  Kristin Ormezzano and her husband, Robert, of North Haledon; Peter Derendal and his wife, Lyndsay, of Hopatcong; Danielle Golinski and her husband, Christopher, of Sparta; Ian Berman of Clifton; and Megan Stolarz and Chris Lind of Bloomfield; her treasured great-grandchildren:  Matteo Ormezzano; Logan and Madison Derendal; and Maxwell Golinski, along with many nieces and nephews.

Louise’s life celebration will include Visitation at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., as well as a Funeral Mass Celebration on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton, NJ.
