Louise L. (Paternoster) Suriano

Louise L. Suriano, 91, of Cedar Grove, formerly of Newark, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021.  Born in Newark, Louise was a lifelong resident until moving to Cedar Grove. Before her retirement, she was employed as a hairdresser in Bloomfield for many years. Louise loved to be outside and enjoyed taking long walks.  Being with family was what was most important to her. She was a former parishioner of St. Lucy R.C. Church and St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church, both in Newark.

          Louise was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Suriano in 2002; her parents, Joseph and Anita Paternoster; two brothers, Gerard Paternoster and his wife, Mary and Daniel Paternoster and a nephew Joseph Suriano.

          Survivors include: her nieces and nephew, Alana Paternoster, Debra Ryan and Elaine DelColle; and her great-nieces and great-nephews.

          Visitation will be held Thursday morning, October 14, 2021 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am followed by a 10:30 am funeral service at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
