Manuel “Manny” Moran, 85 of Paterson, New Jersey passed away on December 26, 2021. A longtime resident of Paterson, Manny was born in Panama and was a proud Panamanian.  He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 62 years, Asenet (nee Cepeda), who he adored. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather.  He is also survived by his two loving daughters, Annie Lucianin and Sarita Escalante and her husband Luis Escalante.  His beloved five grandsons were the most precious gifts in his life, Nicholas, Jonathan, Daniel and Matthew Escalante and Kyle Lucianin.  He always attended all of their school events and functions and was simply a hands-on grandfather.  He would do anything for them, anything for his family.  Survived also by his sisters, Yolanda Giovannetti, Doris Rivera, Elvira Maldonado and his brother Leandro Moran.  Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, Manuel Moran, Sr. and Maria (nee Sanchez) Moran and a sister, Marina Santiago. Manny retired from Mueller Brothers based in Carlstadt, NJ and then continued his career at Hayes Pump in Fairfield, NJ and then for 27 years was employed at MetLife Stadium for Security Services in East Rutherford, NJ. Manny will be ever remembered for his wonderful sense humor, kindness, compassion, friendship, and loyalty.
