Manuel Sanchez, 87, of Clifton passed away on July 14, 2020 with his family by his side. Born and raised in Alajuela, Costa Rica, Mr. Sanchez came to the United States in 1983, eventually settling in Clifton. While living in Costa Rica, he was employed as an auditor for the federal government. In the United States, he worked as a security guard at Passaic General Hospital.
He is predeceased by his parents, Luis and Claudina (nee Alfaro) Sanchez and a sister, Flor Sanchez.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Flory Sanchez; four loving children: Ana Sanchez Torres of San Jose, Costa Rica, Sandra Sanchez Torres of Alajuela, Costa Rica, Luigi Sanchez and his wife Marlene of Clewiston, Florida and Florey Cruz-Cerpa and her husband, Felix, of Clifton. Loving grandchildren: Alvaro, Tatiana & Alberto Castillo, Ana Ekaterina, Karen, Luis, Pedro & Claudia Sanchez, Rolando, Roberto & Rodolfo Rodriguez and Tatiana & Alejandro Cerpa, along with 9 cherished great-grandchildren; dear sister, Adela Sanchez; and many nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Visiting hours Saturday 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Prayer Service Saturday at 2:30 pm. Private cremation to follow.
