Marion R. (Pavlinik) Beck

Marion R. (nee Pavlinik) Beck, 80, of Oak Ridge, passed away with her family by her bedside on April 24, 2021.

            Born in Passaic, NJ, Mrs. Beck was raised in Clifton and had lived in Wallington, Fair Lawn and Wayne before settling in Oak Ridge thirty-five years ago. She had been employed with Coldwell Banker in Kinnelon for the past twenty-five years; nineteen of them as Senior Administrator and six of them as a Real Estate Agent. She was a faithful lifelong parishioner of St. Michael’s Cathedral in Passaic.  She was an avid bowler, loved everything about ducks, amassed an amazing collection of Hummels and had a great love for her family and friends; especially being a Grandma to her two grandsons. Many of the most fun times of her life with her friends, Joann Galus, Betty Hedden, and “The Bowling Gals”: Sylvia, Lorraine, Barbara, Betty and Kathy.

            Mrs. Beck was predeceased by her dearly missed brother, Michael Pavlinik.

            She is survived by her devoted son, Jason Beck, and his wife, Amber, of Houlton, ME; by her dear sister, Eleanor Chabra, of Wayne; and two cherished grandsons: Jayson David Beck and Tyler Michael Beck.

            Byzantine Liturgy Friday 10:00am at St. Michael Chapel, 415 Lackawanna Avenue, Woodland Park. Please meet at church. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, South Hackensack. Arrangements through Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton.
