Mark Philip Balasbas, 41, passed away suddenly on October 15, 2023. Born in the Philippines, Mark came to the United States in 1992 and settled in Bloomfield. He resided there for most of his life before moving to Springfield, then recently to Union. He first worked as a nurse at Loving Care Pediatric Home Care, then he transferred to Bayada Home Health Care in Morristown. Mark enjoyed online gaming with his friends and was known to be a great dancer and choreographer.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Manuel and Felicitas (nee Bermejo) Balasbas of Middletown, DE and his dear sister, Adena Leen Balasbas of Bloomfield.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Services will be hosted by Father Dave Sison beginning at 3:00 pm.
