Mary R. Antoniotti, 95, of Clifton, NJ -- Wife of the late Alfred G. Antoniotti (dec. 2003), and beloved mother of three: daughter Mary Marguerite (husband Peter Suter), son Alfred Joseph, daughter Elaine Mary (husband William D. Nichols). She was predeceased by her beloved sister Lorraine Ann Rusinko (dec. 1995), and survived by beloved sister Irene Helen Freeman, and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, 1929, the family moved to Clifton while she was yet a child, and she remained there for the rest of her life. She began her career shortly after high school as a bookkeeper in a firm in New York City where she met her future husband Alfred. After about two years she settled as homemaker for what would eventually become a family of five and continued as such for the rest of her life. Her Orthodox Christian faith remained the chief cornerstone of her life for all her days, sedulously laboring daily for the health, well being and education of her children. Mary would always emphasize that though she could point the way to salvation, she could not personally carry anybody “through the pearly gates”. That is always up to each individual. Compassionate and kind, and with a devoted interest in her children’s progress, she reminded them to never lose sight of God, no matter what happens, and to pray. She is an example of a beautiful, God-fearing, and loving soul. Memory Eternal.
