Mary Bitner

Mary (nee Schrayter) Bitner, 82, of Paterson, passed away on December 29, 2020. Born in Poland, she came to the United States in 1957 settling in Hartford, CT After her marriage in 1959 she moved to Paterson, NJ where she has resided since. Mary was a seamstress working at various textile companies before her retirement

          Mrs. Bitner was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Bitner (2005); her son, Paterson Firefighter, Walter Bitner; her parents, Fedor and Helena (nee Popkov) Schrayter; and her brother, Alexander Schrayter.

          Survivors include: her two daughters, Elena Bitner-MacPherson and her husband, Kenneth and Nadine Bello and her husband, Jerry; her brother, Felix Schrayter and his wife Alexandra; and her three grandsons, Eric MacPherson, Kevin MacPherson and Jared Bello, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service 11:00 am Monday, January 4, 2021 at Novo-Diveevo Russian Orthodox Convent, 100 Smith Road, Nanuet, NY 10954. Interment to follow at Novo-Diveevo Russian Orthodox Cemetery on the same property.    Please meet at the Convent.
