Mary (Novak) Godri

Mary (nee Novak) Godri, 104, of Clifton, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025.  Born in Passaic, Mary has resided in Clifton for many years.  Before retirement, Mary was employed with New Jersey Bell Telephone.  She was a longtime faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton where she was a member of the Rosary Society and the Prime Timers.  Mary always enjoyed working at the Cake and Coffee booth at the St. Philip's Church Carnival for many years.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Benjamin J. Godri, Jr. in 1999 and is survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 9:15 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:00 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
